India Assoication of Tallahassee (IATLH) will be hosting a Sit-Down & Draw Contest for all members (including adults) on Saturday, January 29, 2011 between 1 and 2 PM. The venue is The Meeting Rooms A and B at the Leroy Collins Leon County Public (Main) Library located at 200 West Park Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32301. IATLH will be provide the paper needed to draw. Participants have to bring their drawing materials of choice (pencils, crayons, water color, eraser, sharpner, etc.,) and a hard clipboard.

The contestants will be divided into four age categories: 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14+. The contestants will be provided with topic(s) and given about 45 minutes to complete the drawing. Once the topic has been assigned and selected only participants will be allowed to stay and complete the work and hand it to the coordinator(s).

Two judges have been selected and they will evaluate the work independently and score them in a scale of 1-10 (10 being the top). The two scores will be averaged to arrive at the final score. If there is more than one person with the same score, those drawings will be judged by the judges and final score will be arrived. There will be three categories for prizes: 1, 2, and 3. All participants will receive a certificate.

Indian Republic Day Celebration and Annual Generalbody meeting will follow the Art Contest. The winners of the Art Contest will be announced and prizes distributed after the AG Meeting around 3:45 PM.
