The Holiday/Diwali dinner on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Chiles High School Cafeteria was attended by about 200 people. The pre-paid buffett-style dinner catered by Samrat, Indian Resturant started after the Glimpses program has ended. Those who participated at the dinner were greeted with rangoli, Indian floor painting and art works of local artists. Mr. Robert Arnett, author of India Unveiled also mingled with the dinner participants.
