    Classical Music Concert

    07/12/08: IATLH sponsored a carnatic classical music concert by Smt Vempati Srivalli Sarma accompanied on Violin by Ashwin Ramanathan and on Mridangam by Vikram Vasudevan on Saturday, July 12, 2008. About forty music lovers attended the program.

    Financial Planning Seminar

    06/08/08: India Association of Tallahassee co-sponsored (with Dexter Baker of AXA-Advisors, Inc) Financial Planning seminar was a success. About thirty people attened the program which allowed the Association to help its members. Mr Dexter Baker answered questions posed by the members. WCTV-6, the local CBS Television Station carried an interview about the program.

    IATLH represented at Mayor's Proclamation

    05/14/08: The General Secretary of IATLH was present at Tallahassee City Hall when Mayor John Marks III proclaimed May as the Asian Awareness month. Asian Coalition of Tallahssee's Chairman Clyde Diao accepted the proclamation of behalf of the member associations.

    IATLH participates in Asian Awareness

    05/10/08: IATLH participated in the Asian Awareness Month Celebration organized by the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee. Several kids and adults were part of the cultural program as well as the ethnic fashion show.

    IATLH Sports Day a success!

    04/18/08: IATLH's first ever Sports Day was a sucess! Over 120 adults and children came on a Sunday morning to participate in various sports activities. Medals were handed out to children in the following categories: 3-5, 6-9, 10-12, and 13+. Thanks to the volunteers the day went very well. Congrats to everyone!

    IATLH with ACT wins Awards at the Springtime Parade

    04/18/08: IATLH together with Asian Coalition of Tallahassee has won the first prize in Clubs and Miscellaneous category for the Springtime Tallahassee Parade. Congrats to everyone!
