Summer Reading Program at Leon County Public Library
Saturday, July 30, 2011, 1-3 PM
Leon County Public Library, Parkway Branch
1210 Capital Circle SE, Tallahassee, FL 32301
The LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library System (LCPLS) and the India Association invite you all to the Summer Reading Program Celebration on Saturday, July 30, 2011. This year's summer reading theme is "One World, Many Stories". We are encouraging children to experience other cultures through reading and more. LCPLS and IATLH will feature members of India Association at the Parkway Branch Library (intersection of Apalachee Pwky and Cap Circle SE) from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m reading stories, demonstrating small crafts, singing songs that represent India and her culture.
We encourage all IATLH members to come and participate in the event. We want volunteers (adults and kids) who can read to others, demonstrate a craft, or sing a song. Due to the limitation of space in this particular branch we may not be able to accommodate all of you, but can sign you up during different time slots to as many slots as we can accommodate. Since it is a public library with limited space we encourage individuals or groups of two or three people. |
